ALUXA / FIRST PENDANT
DESIGN IN DEVELOPMENT
ARCHITECTURAL IMAGINATION. OBJECTS FOR LIVING.
Sculptural light.
An artisan’s attention.

ALUXA brings architectural imagination to the objects we live with. Designed by architect and parametric designer Dimitar Pouchnikov, our first pendant pairs a flowing sculptural form with close attention to its surface, proportion and connection.
FORM BY DAY.
ATMOSPHERE BY NIGHT.
01 / THE DESIGNER
A designer’s hand
in every decision.
DIMITAR POUCHNIKOV
ARCHITECT · DESIGNER · EDUCATOR
ALUXA is the lighting studio of Dimitar Pouchnikov—architect, designer and educator, with experience at HOK, Adjaye Associates and AHMM in London. His practice explores the meeting of expressive geometry and physical making. ALUXA brings that enquiry into the home: an original form, developed through digital studies, physical prototypes and the refinement of small details.
Previous practice experience is biographical; no employer endorsement is implied.
Fine lines gather into narrow bundles, then fan across a softly triangulated shade. From across the room, the silhouette is calm. Closer by, its surface reveals another scale of detail.
Light that gives a room
its character.
ONE FORM. MANY PERSPECTIVES.
DESIGN STUDIES, NOT CONFIRMED SKUS.
02 / THE PENDANT
A continuous gesture.
01 — DAY / The presence of a sculptural object.
02 — EVENING / The room in a different light.
03 / A CHANGE IN ATMOSPHERE
Form by day.
Atmosphere by night.
04 / IDEA INTO OBJECT
Craft begins
with attention.
DIGITALLY DEVELOPED.
EXPLORED THROUGH 3D-PRINTED PROTOTYPES.
The curve. The rhythm of a rib. The point where the shade meets its support. Each is a design decision. Digital tools allow us to explore the form; physical prototypes reveal what the screen cannot—the texture in the hand, the presence across a room, the relationship between surface and light. This is the craft at the heart of ALUXA: moving between an idea and an object, refining the details that make the whole feel considered.
05 / IN THE ROOM
A part of everyday life.
Interior concept visualisation. Grouped pendant mockups are design studies, not confirmed product configurations.

ALUXA grows from a wider design practice: exploring form, developing complex surfaces and bringing digital geometry into physical materials.
